Orders and returns

Mia looks after Lumen Ceramics' customers in the chat: where an order is, with the tracking link, and a return the shop approves, once the customer gives the order number and the email it was placed with.

How it's built

What it knows, what it can do, and the steps it follows.

The same three parts make every chatbot, set up in the dashboard without code: knowledge you add, tools you switch on or connect, and a workflow you draw.

01

Knowledge

Shipping times, the returns window and how to care for a mug come from these. Where an order is comes from Shopify itself.

  • lumenceramics.com/shippingWebsite · 8 pages
  • Returns policy.pdfPDF · 5 passages
  • Care guide.mdMarkdown · 11 passages

02

Tools

Connect your store once under Tools. The chatbot only ever reads the order the customer names, with its email.

ShopifyFinds the order by its number and the email it was placed with, gives its status and tracking link, and asks your store to accept a return, which you approve in Shopify.shopify_order_statusshopify_request_return
Hand-offFor what the shop decides itself, such as a refund outside the policy. Your team gets the transcript.hand_off_to_human
03

Workflow

Each visitor message runs these steps: a condition reads what they want, and each answer has its own path. A question none of them takes is answered from the knowledge.
